Remington 700: are actions identical?
I've got a Remington 700 barrel and bolt that both came from a .308, and an action and lug that came off a R700 .223. I'm wondering if assembling these would require a gunsmith to go/no-go, ream, etc. in order to have a (safely) functioning .308 rifle? In other words, are the actions from the...- pipi31415

Ruger gunsite mags vs AI
Tried searching through the mag comparison sticky, but apologies if I missed this in that thread... So the Ruger Gunsite Scout uses AI mags. It would make sense then that I could use Gunsite mags in my Rem 700 .308 DBM... but I wanted to see if anyone had actually tested this out to make...- pipi31415
