Bolt gun build, how to start?
I see alot of plp buying a rifle then start replacing every component. New barrel, stock, trigger, etc. Wouldn't it be better just to start with buying the individual parts? Better or cheaper? They don't always make good dance partners! Thanks. If there is a thread or something...- knosaj

device to measure impact force ?
i realise there is fps formulas, ballistic gelletain and stuff, but im looking for a mechanical device of some sort that would measure the actual impact of a round down range. maybe something that is on a plate or something that would proved a measurement. my project is not firearm related but...- knosaj

Advanced Marksmanship heat effecting shots?
at 100 yards, with a 270. leupold 3x9 optic. 150 grain rem core-lock first 3 shots were in a 1/2" to 3/4" group. not too bad. after this group, i adjusted the scope. not understanding the increments on the scope i over adjusted just to get a handle on what was what.
