    Gunsmithing free float on an ADL

    i just got a new B&C stock for my M700 ADL with a sporter barrel. I read or heard somewhere that on sporter barrel you do not free float them. They need to rest on the pads at the front of the barrel channel. im having to sand the new stock down to make the action and barrell fit just dont want...
