    Rifle Scopes FFP or Not??

    Is it worth spending the extra money to get a FFP scope for hunting ranges from 100yds thru 800yds?? Looking at the Vortex PST 4x16x50 for my .300 Win.

    First is off. Why??

    I am having an issue with my load development. I am shooting three shot groups and the first shot is high and to the left, the next two shots are just about a half inch apart low and to the right at two hundred yards.     300gr smk load info

    I am having a difficult time working up a load for 300gr SMK in a Savage 110BA. I am changing powder to H-1000. Does anybody have any good loads?? I am using Lapua brass, Fed 215, and starting .025 off lands. RL-19 showed pressure signs without any good results, testing them @ 300yds. Need help!
