rem700 5r way overpriced?
There is a local shop here selling a new 5r 308 for over $1200!? I thought these were around $800 or so new..is this 1200 dollar price right? Or is the Obama scare creating price gouging?- freestylmx

FNH TSR, Savage PC, Tikka Scout
Im racking my mind here about which to get so I thought maybe I should just have someone tell me. Im looking at these..all in 308 Savage PC ($760) Savage 10 with the choate stock ($760) Tikka T3 Scout ($899) FNH TSR ($1050) or a used Rem700 m40A1 clone ($750)...looks like the M40 mcmillan...- freestylmx

imr 8208 vs Tac (5.56 nato loads)
Ive loaded up several 75 bthp and 77 noslers with Tac and imr 8208. They both have almost identical burn speeds and they both are excellent in my 20" BCM AR-15, but Im getting much higher velocities with tac 24.5 grains of tac and Im getting 2865 fps with 77's and 3000 fps with 75's which...- freestylmx

AR-10 w/ noveske 18" barrel not cycling
I bought a custom made Armalite 308 with an 18" noveske barrel. It will not cycle anything. Pulling the bolt back by hand showed it was stopping too soon, it wont lock back.
