Need for speed... Power Pro 2000-MR vs Reloader 17
I noticed in Alliant 2012 Reloader's Guide and the .308 section they list Power Pro 2000-MR (48.5gr) pushing a 180gr Federal Fusion @ 2,760fps or 119fps faster than what's listed for RL-17 (48.7gr) and 180gr Speer BTSP. 8.5 twist barrel for Savage 7mm-08
Hello, I've scoured the bowels of the internet and don't see a drop in 8.5 twist barrel for 7mm-08 and Savage. I want a 26'' 8.5 twist to run the 175gr Sierra MatchKings with RL-17. .308, RL-17, and Hornady 178 HPBT in a gas gun
I found a nice little combo at the range today. It's my understanding that Hornady Superfomance 178 HPBT loads have pressure related problems in gas guns.
