    Gunsmithing Maximum barrel profile for a AX Accuracy International stock

    I have a Rem 700 short action in a AX stock, i am contemplating upgrading the barrel. Anyone able to tell me the maximum barrel profile the AX stock will accept ? Understand 5mm clearance required but the gunsmith is 1500km (932 miles) south, trying to organise everything by email.

    AIC AX Rem700 Upgrade - Bolt Release

    I have just fitted a AIC-AX stock to my Remington 700, having a issue removing the bolt. I think the bolt release is negated in this stock ? If anyone has fitted one of these stocks to a 700 would appreciate any advise on activating bolt release. Love the stock, perfect for what I wanted.
