    Rifle Scopes Scope Rail Bedding

    I am ready to bed the TPS steel aloy scope rail on a Remi 700 VSF. I was planning on using petroleum jelly as a release agent in conjunction with JBweld. Does any know if there is a an issue with using petroleum jelly aka Vaseline as a release agent? Thanks Idol
