Rifle Scopes Help with mounting scope needed
Hi all...... I bought a Savage 10 FCP HS Precision .308 24" Heavy 1/10 yesterday. Today..... The Vortex 6-24x50 FFP MRAD 30mm Scope. My question is, how do I finish it? I plan on using the EGW picatinny short rail.... but do I get the 0 moa or 20 moa? 90% of my shooting will be within 300...- Parker420

Picked up my .308 today!
Picked it up today.... Savage 10 FCP LE HS 24" 1/10 Precision .308 ..... I asked earlier for some suggestions on finishing it....Base / rings etc. However, still can't decide on a scope.....really leaning toward a Vortex, either the 4-16x50 or 6-24x50...again, I know nothing about precision...- Parker420

I know NOTHING about long range precision shooting, but am buying a Remington 700P .308 26" Heavy 1/12 and need a scope..... Precision Rifle ...... Which One?
I want to purchase a precision rifle for long range shooting. My LGS suggested the Savage 10-FCP 26" .308 heavy with McMillan stock.....and the Vortex Viper PST scope..... But as far as the gun goes....it's 1,100.00 ..... Sure, there are more expensive out there, but is there any better options...- Parker420
