Is 1 in 7 twist too fast ...
... for an AR15 twenty inch barrel using 55 gr bullets? I just replaced a 16" 1:9 barrel with a 20" 1:7 and have a few spam cans of 55 grain lying around. Just wanted to know if the 1:7 twist rate is too fast for these pills. Will 62 gr green tips work with this barrel or should I consider...- foxC

Question on bedding aluminum pillars
I have Remington 700 AAC-SD and ordered a Manners T1 that was just delivered inletted for a Surgeon DBM . I did not get the pillars installed by manners as I plan on using the pillars that came with the new DBM. Considering glass bedding this stock myself. Two questions ... I am not sure what...- foxC

Question on Manners stock and sling studs
I ordered a manners MCS-T stock back in April. I optioned it with an Atlas front rail and one rear stud for an Atlas bipod and monopod that I use. While at the range yesterday I tried out a .308 with a Tactical Intervention M-24 sling and am thinking I might want to add this to my rifle. I don't...- foxC

Rifle Scopes Question on elev spring tension
I have read here that keeping the elevation spring under tension tends to cause problems with scopes using canted bases. I am using a Badger 20 MOA base and Viper Vortex PST 6-24 FFP scope. Tonight I set the zero stops and noticed I have about one full turn down dialed in. Is this too much...- foxC
