OK, So my new brake just came in the mail today and I am about to bring the rig down to the gunsmith.
My question is, would it be better to have the brake permanently fixed to the barrel with something like locktite, or not and just have them also make a thread protector?
I have a coworker with a lever action .284 Win. He is having one heck of a time trying to find ammo for that thing. Any ideas??? We are located in Arizona but I'm sure he'll be willing to order some from just about anywhere.
