savage 110 ba 338 Lapua Mag.
Just picked this gun up yesterday. loaded 250gr. sierra spbt bullets atop 85 gr. of RL 22. the gun was previously owned and had about 30 rds. threw it the last owner said. i put a leupold mk4 8.5-25 scope on it .cleaned it well and checked all the screws to make sure the action was tight. .338 lapua shell holder?
i went to size some .338 lapua S&B brass and it wont fit in my lyman # 17 shell holder..is it wrong? the lyman box says #17x is a 17 different?anybody know?- 1maxhunter

Bumping the shoulder back
need some help on the topic of how to correctly bump the shoulder back on .308 Win. brass. thoughts on a savage .338 lapua
I'm working on picking up a savage in .338 lapua any info good or bad on this rifle or cartridge? want to do some long range shooting and maybe use it for an elk hunt. pros and cons of it? what kind of groups is this cartridge/gun capable of? thanks for your input..- 1maxhunter
