    Firearms WTS - Custom 300WM - New

This is a new Precision Rifle that I built for a hunting trip that never happened. I am a sponsored pistol shooter for GA Firing Line and I know the care they put in to building this gun. I am happy to meet there if you want to speak with the gunsmith who built the rifle (If local to ATL). I...

Range Report Horizontal Coriolis - Computing Average Velocity

Howdy, I'm working on an Excel sheet that will place Windage, Coriolis and Spin Drift in separate columns. I don't like that most ballistic software combines everything in to one "drift" column. Ballistic XLR is great, but last time I checked it requires you to use the G1 drag function...

My Only Issue with Stainless Tumbling...

The .255" long media consistently wedge themselves in the mouth of my 260 Rem brass. I have to pop them all out, one at a time with a toothpick before I rinse the brass off. Anyone have a crafty solution for this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    iSpotter Through Konus 7120

Just in case you were thinking of purchasing either... Here is a video of the iSpotter through the Konus 7120 @ 60x (575 yards). I will go ahead and say the video does not do the glass of the Konus 7120 justice. It was reeeeealllly impressive for a budget spotting scope. I am very happy with...

    Dies in Rotary Tumbler?

I am full of questions today.... I found some rusted up 30-06 dies in my Grandfather's garage. Anyone think it would hurt the dies/the tumbler if I ran them through my Rebel 17? I've got a couple other things showing some surface rust as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    260 Rem Load Worries

Gents, I got my custom 260 build back and started load work up this weekend. My best group was less than .25 MOA with the hottest load that I tested: 140gr Berger Hybrid seated .005 off the lands (2.214 OAL measured from Ogive) 44.5 grains of H4350 getting 2960 fps New Lapua Brass Fed...

Range Report Mad Props to Joe Collier and Cerakote Maintenance Questions

Howdy Friends, I got to go out and shoot my Collier Rifles Remington 700 today for the first time (260 Rem). The man builds one mean machine! I was getting 1/4 MOA groups with every load I tested. How is a brother supposed to do load development when every one of them key holes!?!? I will post...

Lapua 308 Win Brass in Savage Model 10FP

Alright... I FL resized and trimmed my 308 Win Lapua brass to 2.005". I ran it through my Sinclair expander die and neck turned it to .015". My Hornady OAL gauge measured 2.242" to the lands. My assembled round is 2.227" (what should be .015" off the lands). I'm getting a stiff bolt...

    Rotary Tumbler w/ Stainless Media?

Howdy Gents, I picked up one of the ultrasonic cleaners from Harbor Freight a while back and I'm fairly unimpressed. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the rotary tumblers that use the stainless steel media. I've been looking at some of the packages listed here: Package Kits...

    308 to 260 Conversion

Good Evening Gents, So here is my first attempt at converting some 308 Win brass to 260 Rem: I don't think this is going to chamber... I was using one of the Forster FL dies . Yes, I used lube (insert dirty joke). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rifle Scopes New Build - Need Glass Opinions

Hello Again, I've got a budget of about $1,500 for the glass on my 260 Remington build. I've had an SWFA SS 10x42M on my 308 for a while, and that has gotten me out to 1000 with no real issues. I would like to reach out as far as the 260 Rem cartridge will take me (about 1500-1600 depending...

Howdy Friends, I'd like to hear everyone's process for minimizing bullet runout for long range. Obviously you want to start with a great set of dies... and then... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
