Thanks to both of you. Quite of bit of the info I have googled & read, was somewhat dated.

(in no particular order) Concealed Carry instructor, conduct multiple NRA classes, reloading, gunsmithing, dad, grand dad (we married young! :) ), & coin collecting.

What are the current guidelines for building a CA legal AR15? (already have the mag button) What else?

The price of lead from "secondary" sources, ie...reclaimed lead, will increase - bet on it.

Forgot to mention.... Does everybody CLEAN their new (or used) dies PRIOR to reloading? Dies have a rust preventative sprayed on them. Disassemble and clean thoroughly - I use carb cleaner and a plastic brush on sizing and seating dies.

You tumble loaded rounds? Is this not supposed to be kind of hard on powder? (breaks it down into smaller pieces or change the burn rate by a multitude of methods) Have also read, from several sources, it is possible to light a round off when tumbling loaded rounds.

Your problem is already diagnosed. One Shot = One Stuck. Some have great luck using this product. I do not.

Barrel nut, floating bolt head.........what is not to like? Can convert a long action from 17 Squirrel to 338 RUM in 15 minutes.......what is not to like?

FYI - 7.5x55 brass IS available....just neck UP 284 Winchester brass. Extracts perfectly....and is a LOT cheaper than trying to find boxer primed 7.5x55 brass.

Re: Fellow Savage Shooters need feedback Or, size a piece of brass with your current setup. Check if the sized brass will chamber in your rifle. No? Unlock the die locking ring, turn the die down 1/8 turn, lock die in place, size the brass, and try to chamber. Continue adjusting 1/8 turn...
