    What about ruger American predator in 6.5 creedmoor. Work well for hunting and probably do well as a starter rifle for target shooting. Barrel is heavier than the standard profile but lighter than a varmit barrel. There is some after market support like mdt chassis.

    Which is really better? Take two rifle scope that are identical. Let's say a 3-21x50 this isn't any brand it is hypothetical. Both scopes have the same reticle, so the SFP scopes reticle with be correct at 21 power. Let say they have a Christmas tree reticle for hold overs and wind hold off...

    Why not get a 22lr and put a decent piece of glass on top. If your budget is that small for the rifle how are you going to feed it. 22lr are small investment and put more into the glass than the rifle then shoot the hell out of it learning the basics of shooting while saving up for a decent...

    Thompson performance center LRR 6.5 creedmoor- trigger issue

    Mine LRR has done it a couple of times in about 500 rounds. I did notice the safety was partly flipped on from snagging the lever while cycling bolt. Safety level is very square and large seem very easy to snag with out noticing. I have plans to round off the Sharpe edges so it less snaggable...
