    Winchester Brass Plant?

Many calibers are run once or twice a year to meet estimated demand. Production lines have to be changed from one specific cartridge to another.

    FMJ accuracy

I'm hoping to put him behind my LTR in 223 with some match ammo. The fmj ammo should be fine for range time and plinking. I have a supply of Ballistic Tips as well as a few kinds of match type bullets but I don't want him shooting those just to be shooting. It is also time for him to learn the...

    FMJ accuracy

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't expecting match accuracy, just curious. I have a 13 year old son who loves to shoot the AR he built.

    FMJ accuracy

I bought a couple of thousand Hornady 55 grain .224 bullets to feed the various AR15s in the house. What kind of accuracy potential do these bullets have? Not asking how my un-named rifle will shoot. Just curious if anyone has tried to find out just how well FMJ type bullets shoot.

    New to 260

Rcbs makes top notch equipment, but lately I have been buying Redding dies. I love them. I have also started using the carbide expander balls to avoid lubing inside the necks. I use Varget behind Nosler 120 or 140 grain Ballistic Tips and get great accuracy.

How hard is it really to be accurate at 300-400 yards with an ar 15

Right here in a single post is a wealth of information. Sterling Shooter nailed it.

For those who have done OCW testing

I don't often chronograph my rifle ammo. I know some of you gasped at that. Most of my shots are 200 yards and under due to geography and terrain. I also find a great deal of satisfaction in chasing ever smaller groups at 100 yards. Node? Load density? Maybe both, or maybe the innate perversity...

    Harrell's powder measure

I appreciate all of the replies. I have experimented with my technique and the consistency is much better. Seems to need several charges thrown before it "settles". The learning process is ongoing, even after 30 plus years of reloading.

For those who have done OCW testing

I have noticed a trend in several calibers for an excellent shooting load to be found at a half to full grain under published maximum. I did not start out looking for this result, but it seems to crop up a lot. My question then, is this: Does anyone notice with the OCW method? I previously...
