    Re: help settle this powder issue please I figured I would lean toward caution and ordered some H4895 and RL-15, mostly the former. Besides, Cabelas has both in stock so I won't have to wait. At some point I'll have to get some Varget to try in my .308 bolt action. Thanks for all the input.

    Re: help settle this powder issue please Sorry, should have included that info. 150-170gr bullets. I would LOVE to find a powder and bullet that kept my AP-4 and my .308 hunting (bolt-action) happy. That'd make buying components in quantity a lot easier.
