Sidearms & Scatterguns Sig p226, s&w M&P9, or cz sp-01
I shot the M&P 9mm in IDPA for about a year with the factory trigger worn in, no problem in general.....it would seem to me as a good gun to start with.....not to expensive and with the different size grip inserts you should find one to acomodate your hands.....good luck!- Kuto

Sidearms & Scatterguns Why you DON'T like Glock.
I had a Glock 22 Gen 4 and hated the ergonomics and factory sights, it is a very realiable pistol no doubt but not more so than a Beretta 92 or S&W M&P in my experience.....I sold it a few months......- Kuto

I would have to agree, I showed up to competition shooting with a Beretta 90 - TWO....people there at the club told me I was nuts and at a huge disadvantage.....I figured they knew what they were talking about.....so I purchased a para p16-40 and started competing in limited.....took me a while...- Kuto
