    Auto 300 blackout cutter

Had a few hours after supper tonight and threw together another idea I had. Looks like it will cut down 2880/hr .223 cases to be final trimmed for 300 blk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mD2tugzRnD0

    Homemade 45 acp shotshell die

I found a suitable donor die in my stash, an RCBS 44mag/SPL die. Ran a file across it and found that it was way too hard to machine. So I heated it up to take the heat treat out of it. At that point I drilled and tapped it 1/2-20 and and reamed the inside to resize the case and...

Auto culler for 45 ACP small primer brass

Tired of working your fingers to the bone culliing small primer 45 brass from large, only to have one stop your reloading dead in it's tracks? Well, take a look at the innovative, new and improved, super, diet and patent pending, cull-o-matic. Ball point pen included. No brass was...

    Auto bullet sizer

I had recycled some parts off of my auto bullet sizer but put it back together today and shot a short video of how it works. It uses the same gear motors as the bullet caster and auto reset rifle targets, so it is pretty slow but they were free and it runs by itself. Click photo to play video.

    Auto caster

After a number of years making rust, I ran the auto caster again today. You have to click the photo to play the video.

    Reloading bench progress

It is 3/4" box tube that makes up a 5" truss making it quite strong an still light enough I won't mess up the wood floor. The adjustable padded feet also help out. Couldn't fit all of the most used equipment on at one time so there is a bottom shelf to hold them and an air compressor a friend...

    Computer controlled 1050

The first run of the PLC controlled 1050 was a success. Along with the auto drive I added a PLC that controls the motor. There is an up and down limit switches that are on a clock so if the tool head doesn’t reach either in the allotted time the timer times out and stops the motor, this...

Homemade wet tumbler for stainless steel media

The results using stainless steel media always impressed me; however, being accustom to the large batches my big Dillon tumbler can turn out the idea of only being able to 2 lbs of brass (only 230 rounds of 9mm) at a time just wouldn’t be worth it. The Thumler’s tumbler despite costing almost...

    Reloading for the 217.49mm X 3785.41 cm3

Reloading for the 217.49mm X 3785.41 cm3 Doesn’t really fit anywhere so I thought I would show off the lowest cost projectile launcher I have reloaded for. I had a little time to play today waiting on a delivery, so I put together my 217.49mm X 3785.41 cm3, hauled it and a few hundred feet...

    Homemade flasher

These are photos of one of my “flash“ targets. It has been shot a bazillion times and still works, we even used it in the very first NRA Tactical Police Competition our club hosted. If you don't know what one is, the idea is you have a target hanging from a pivot and while at rest just a...

    Brass Vac

Although I put this together for pistol brass I did pick up a bunch of .223 and 308 with it too. After the 2010 TX State match I was surprised to see, two weeks later, quite a bit of the over 38,950 cases fired during the match still on the ground. Even with the guys that are nuts over the bag...

    auto case pro

Not really for rifle (yet) but it's not from china. I finally got to work on the automation of the cacepro to resize the rim of cases. I welded a little tab, onto the set collars that I used as a clutch off of the drive motor, to keep them located properly when they slip (different...
