    Gunsmithing McGowen pre fit, Good To GO?

    Savage Prefit: 280 AI | 28" | 9T | Standard Shank | Bull | Stainless Match Building my first LR rifle on a 110e, looked to me like the Prefit was the way to go. Anyone had experience with Hunter's Run pre fits, any reason not to pick one up? Thanks, FTG

    I am looking at barrels for my 280 AI build and have a question on twist. Mcgowen has a 8 or 9 for a pre fit, anyone have a opinion on the better twist to use? Thanks, Brett

    I would like to use my crap tone of good 30 06 brass to feed the 280 AI build I am doing. What does it take for dies, fire forming, trimming? Any info would sure be helpful. Brett
