    HELP!!! Cannon Safe WON'T UNLOCK!!!

I always suggest a manual combination lock when buying a safe. They may be slower but they always open unless you quickly rather than slowly spin the dial. i know this is no help for you now but think about the slower combination dial in your next safe or when you do get it opened just sell it.

300 Win Mag or 338 Lapua?

From the little i know the 300 WM will be very close to the 338 Lapua down range. I have both rifle and I like the 300WM much more as I can afford to actually shoot it (don't reload yet).

Rifle Scopes New Steiner T5Xi Tactical Rifle Scopes

I do have a problem buying this Steiner which I believe made in China no matter how much the Steiner people keep an eye on the factory. Nothing from Bauer down jackets, boots, shoes, answering machines, work and they are made in China.

    Springfield M1A

1luckeyt/a The JAE-100 has aluminum blocks (or optional titanium blocks) and bedding that the receiver sits in or on. Their is no other bedding, I believe, like on the Sig 3000 or the Sako TRG 42/22. That is main reason I ordered it because even Devcon or any epoxy should not be taken apart...

    Springfield M1A

Finally took my Super Match to the range and found it is at least a .7 moa rifle. It does have a Hart stainless barrel which at one time the factory offered. It was made in 1996 and I finally shot it because I should be getting a JAE-100 gen 3 stock in 3 or 4 weeks. That should take care of the...

Palmetto State .308 Fed.175 OK with head stamp of 1974?

I feel like a total fool. I assumed because the brass was so tarnished it was made in 1974 but in fact I mis-read the 1 for a 7, it was made in 2014.I am not sure why it is so tarnished when the 168 Fed. Match is bright and looks new. I greatly apologize and thank you for your insight. It is the...

Palmetto State .308 Fed.175 OK with head stamp of 1974?

I ordered some Federal Match .308 175 gr. ammo from Palmetto State Armory last month and got tarnished and head stamped 1974 ammo. When I ordered several cases of their .308 168 gr. Fed. Match ammo it was bright and shiny. Is the 175gr. corrosive? Is there anything wrong with it besides being...

Which LH long range rifles should I consider.

Walmart was selling its amazing accurate Sig 3000 for $999. You can still buy on Gunbroker for around $1350. I think it is the most rifle for the money if you can settle for the .308. Heavy free floated barrel, one piece rail and receiver, adjustable trigger which breaks perfectly on my gun (I...

Why is Fed. 50cal a third of the price for the 338 Lapua?

I have several Barrett's and can buy Federal XM33C for $237 a case of 100 rounds (Palmetto State Armory) yet the 338 Lapua costs about $800-$900 for the cheapie Hornady Match. Even the very accurate Hornady 750 grain A-Max in 50 cal BMG is about $55 for a box of 20 and is more accurate than the...

    Gun broker or Gunsamerica

I have bought from both but only once from GunsAmerica and did not like them. I now only buy/sell on GunBroker but be aware that their "Buyer's Protection" (and I think it is limited to $300) means nothing. I once bought a Colt Python from Gunbroker and it would not fire on the second round...

James Foley, an American journalist, Beheaded, French, Spanish, Journalists released

If a reporter enters a war zone he is asking for trouble if it is not armed. I am sure in his case if it would have made a difference except he could have sent one, two or more to heaven and their virgins who must be ugly as hell.

Remington moves 2 lines from NY to Ala. due to Cuomo's "Safe Act"

I moved out of NYC when my registered HK91 and Mini-14's were considered years later to be illegal. It shows me what is the purpose of registration. I said my rifles were out of state, but my friend ignored the letter from the Firearms Control Board and a month later had 6 police officers...

Some people probably shouldn't have a CCW permit

Anyone who shoots at roads signs not knowing if a car is about to come around the bent or not knowing where the round will go makes me almost in favor of gun control. There are some people who are just too stupid to own a gun. I never seem to see them going this which is a good thing.

    Need tires for new truck

I look for a heavier ply side wall first and I am very happy with my BFG M/T's in 35" x 16 for my H3. I need an aggressive thread for snow and mud which is all I drive on. I am lucky to have several cars so no need to use it for dry roads.

    Surgeon Build or TRG-42?

Owning a TRG in both 300WM and 338 Lapua I think they are amazing. I am looking for another TRG in 300WM for my wife but do not want to pay what Euro-Optics is asking, about $3700. I will just wait and find one hardly used for about $2800 to $3000. I might add that the TRG in 300 WM will be a...
