Two vets no name jr tripod users ?

Took my no name jr antelope hunting last weekend and really liked it. Left the bipod at home and the first pic is how I was setup to shoot my buck. I think my tripod will be my main hunting support system moving forward.

Hunting & Fishing Looking for a tent

Check out the Kodak Canvas flexbox tents. Super easy to setup and a killer family camping tent in my opinion

Two vets no name jr tripod users ?

I haven’t shot off it yet but I got one and put a Colorado tripod company ball head on it for hunting. I’m really liking it so far the little bit I’ve played with it

    Hunting & Fishing Hunting Quiver

Well I guess it depends what kind of hunting you’re doing too. If you’re only shooting 20 yards out of a tressstand it probably wouldnt matter what you’re shooting. They would probably all be close enough

    Hunting & Fishing Hunting Quiver

Are you saying that you’re wanting to put 3 different kinds of arrows in your quiver at the same time? As long as they are the same diameter and close to the same overall weight I would do it but you have different diameters mixed in with those arrows

    Which bipod to choose.

Did you go with the notched or smooth legs. I definitely prefer the notched

    Which bipod to choose.

I’d go 9-13. It’s definitely short enough for prone and is more versatile in my opinion

That probably because they’re the same scope minus a few options. That’s what I’ve been told anyways

    Hunting & Fishing tanned hides

Some places allow you to send in frozen unfleshed hides but some want them to be fleshed and dried

    Hunting & Fishing tanned hides

If you do it yourself, the hard part is breaking the hide or making it soft. Coyotes dont have a real thick hide so it’s not terrible, but it’s still a pain in the ass. There are a few tanneries that you can ship them to yourself. Moyles is the only one I can think of off the top of my head but...

    Hunting & Fishing 2019 hunting/field clothing

Don’t get hung up on one brand it even ‘hunting related’ brands. Lots of good gear can be found on steep and cheap and backcountry. I feel like each brand has a pice of gear they make better than another. I can’t help but laugh at guys that look like they stepped right out of a catalog.
