What is the white timers I see a lot of the competition shooters using to keep their time on NRL Hunter stages?

I just stepped outside with my kestrel and took a reading and it only showed 23° and wouldn’t go any lower. Local weather station says it is negative 2. Is there some kind of limit range on these kestrel elite ballistic models?

I have a chance to shoot out past 1K. Does anyone know if the 185s will stabilize in an AI 308 1:12 twist barrel? I hate to spend $50 on a box of bullets the gun don't like. FYI The barrel does GREAT with my 175 SMK out to 700 yards.
