    I just got off the phone with an company that will be introducing a Grendel mag soon that will have a max COAL longer that ASC or C products. Can't say who yet but we should hear about them in a month or so.

    I would not exceed AA loads with a compound throat. The longer parallel throat of the 264 LBC and Grendel II is a bit safer with pressure. I actually think some of the AA loads are hot when using the compound throat. He he to funny. Maybe Kyle bought one of his foam filled boxes.

    Yeah thats what i use a c products shell with a ASC follower and spring. ASC sells the followers and springs on there website seperately. The C products shell lets you load to 2.30 (but reliably feeds at 2.295in. It has a better coating than acs as well. The follower in C products is just cheap.

    Depending on the bullet shape it may or may not be 100fps faster or even beyond 100fps approaching 200fps as is the case with the 120gr Nosler BT and 100gr Nosler BT.     Lol my max measured COAL using the Hornady gauge is 2.310in and this string was loaded to 2.29in so no not to the lands. Getting desperate i see. Next trip to the range i'll fire a string to 2.3in using a PRI mag which allows 2.305in COAL. It would be 60K if it was that shorter compound throat...
