Help with OCW target analysis
Did I read in your first post that you are shooting at 100 yards? If so, you might try backing up another hundred or two and see if the results become easier to interpret. The loooooooonnnngg throats in my Remingtons always seem to prefer Sierra bullets.- Khromo

Any luck with heavies in a 1:9 twist .223?
I have a 24", 1-9" AR that shoots 77grain SMK's and 75 grain Hornady HPBT's very accurately out to 300 yards as long as I keep the velocity up. 308 winchester vs lapua brass
I find I have to turn the necks on Lapua brass to get them within 0.001", same as Winchester. The only prep step I don't find necessary on both is flash hole deburring on the Lapua, as the drilled flash holes seem to be pretty clean out of the box. Controling Runnout?
I got in the habit of using the concentricity gauge before and after each process. It lets me know which processes are causing how much runout. If your brass is bent to begin with, or if you have a cockeyed die, you can identify the problem and do something to correct it. Usually something...- Khromo
