    Not sure if this fits the bill the rifle is a 1934 mosin but modified, shortened floated barrel. Stock trigger with a trigger job. 47.9 grains of reloader 15, 155 grain spitzer 100 yards with optics. it felt like a pulled the one low right.

    Looking for a good starting load for 7.62x54r

    Ok I've worked up a load that cut my groups in half. Here's what I came up with. 47.9 grains of reloader 15' in privi brass, a cci primer, and a Speer 155 grain spitzer. Group size is 5 rounds 100 yards in 1.95". If I discount 1 round I think I pulled it's .804". Under 1 moa I'm really happy...

    Looking for a good starting load for 7.62x54r

    Thank you for. Your help. I haven't gotten better than 2.5" groups at 100yrds with factory loads. Till today I took some ppu and pulled the bullets closer to the lands and groups started tightening up. Need to do some more work but it looks promising.
