    Subsonics - All Calibers

CFE BLK is the only powder I found that produces plenty of gas to operate my 7.62x39 AR. I'm at 12.9-13.0gr using the 265gr Acme bullet. SD's in the high 7's using CCI #34 and a good crimp!

Hornady SUBX 7.62x39 Barrel Twist Rate

Can't believe two years have gone by but finally finalized my bullet and load for 7.62x39. Settled on the Acme 265gr bullet running 13.0 grains of CFE BLK. COAL is 2.217 with a full crimp and CCI #34 LR primers. While CFE BLK is not as quiet as H110 or AA1680, it produces more than enough...

    Xero C1 Pro - v3.30 update

How dare you even suggest such a work around on this thread! But you are correct, its easily done in Excel.

"offensive", "resistant"? Hardly the case. I could care less either way.

    Xero C1 Pro - v3.30 update

Here's what I found on their Support Center: I checked the alignment diagram for this mode and its the same as measuring from the muzzle. Better be on your game if rounds have to be 5 inches near it! I believe there are safer ways to true up velocities than this method.

    Xero C1 Pro - v3.30 update

So helpful and well thought out response.

    Xero C1 Pro - v3.30 update

I agree. Merging sessions somehow on the app is probably the path of least resistance. The sessions coming over from the C1 would need some kind of common identifier or linkage to pull this off. Maybe the note field could be used.

    Xero C1 Pro - v3.30 update

"fighting against the idea the idea of a useful feature" is a figment of your imagination. In fact today I figured out a way to provide feedback to directly Garmin through their website Garmin.com. I made two enhancement suggestion, one of which I made on your behalf. And your welcome.

    Xero C1 Pro - v3.30 update

Multiple 5 shot groups meets my needs and now your just looking to pick a fight ahole. I suggested a work around I have tried given the current capabilities the C1. And I no longer give a shit what you think or say.

    Xero C1 Pro - v3.30 update

Fair enough. I'm not resistant to anything you say you need. My needs are not the same as yours. When I reflect back at other solutions from say Magnetospeed or Labradar, Garmin is way ahead of the game. For a device that costs 600 bucks what it does is amazing. Maybe this down range...

    Xero C1 Pro - v3.30 update

I'm sure Garmin is monitoring this thread. I can't speak for Garmin nor do I pretend to understand what % of their user base is requesting this feature request. Maybe "everyone" is a smaller sampling than you think. So why bark at me? Like I have any say in any of this.

    Xero C1 Pro - v3.30 update

It is a serous question. I get what your saying. Can you not export the data from ShotView and throw it in a spreadsheet to include multiple sessions and just do the calculations? Certainly not a simple work around but it can be done.

    Xero C1 Pro - v3.30 update

Yup. Its that time! The April/May wind always makes shooting interesting. Forgot to mention that you will be asked to update once the new version is downloaded. Only takes a few seconds once prompted.

They recommend using their Garmin Express application to do the update. Should be automatic.

    Xero C1 Pro - v3.30 update

Chatting with a buddy of mine at the range yesterday while testing and confirming the problem with 3.30. His ask for an enhancement is to add the functionality of taking a target picture that can be attached to the session on ShotView app. Curious as to the why there is a need to add more...

I want to build (or maybe buy, if I must) a precision .308 gas gun

My experience is limited here but i did a build with high quality components except for the barrel and I was in for just over $2200. An SP 10 is really a good value in retrospect. Finding a load combo and its harmonic interaction with the gun is IMHO just as important as the build quality.

Match vs magnum primers for bench rest

This past weekend I finally had time to regroup on my 7.62x39 subsonic load development. Got a new Garmin C1 chrono to help. The process thus far is going extremely well with my main issue left is finding a powder that produced enough gas to lock back the bolt. Putting all that aside, I was...

Nice! I'd be happy with the initial results. Now lets see half MOA please.
