There seem to be lots of divergent preferences when it comes to reticles. I've used simple designs, basic tree reticles, and more detailed grids. They each offer tradeoffs that suit different applications - except for Tremor reticles, which are the work of satan. If you're mostly dialling it...
Howdy, I'm on Manners' Stock Builder site and it lists inlet options for both the T3 and T3x. I'm looking to order a MCS-PRS1 TK, but I have both a T3 and a T3x, and I need to know if the stock will work with both rifles. My understanding is that the footprint is the same, what am I missing...
Something I learned from purchasing a 6-36 GR2ID, is that it’s way less intrusive or cluttered than it appears when reviewing a pdf of the reticle. I was very much on the fence about it but it’s one of the best reticles I’ve used. Options are good, and I expect the new reticle to be a big hit...
I went to the British shooting show today and discussed this with the Schmidt rep. He said they’re working on it and expect to have it ready by the end of 2024.
It's completely epic in all ways. One of the few recent product experiences that just blew me away - I've been trying to get it to slip up, putting it in difficult lighting conditions and looking for edge to edge clarity issues - it's truly astonishing. Honestly difficult to see how it could be...
Probably the right reticle if you want something simple. I will say I was surprised by how unobtrusive the GR2ID is in practice. Very well executed reticle.
Scope turned up today. Stunning in all regards, keen to get range time asap. Regarding FOVgate, when I have the Scope set to 36x, I have the 6mil windage marking in view i.e the Euro version has the same FOV at 36x as the US examples have at ~30x.
Have one of the Euro models arriving in the next week or so. Have had a bunch of Alpha tier scopes and while I can't get into the granular level of analysis that some on here can, I'll do a short review asap. The 5-25 was my first truly high end optic, got it back in 2011, and have since owned...
I have a 6-36, DT II+, GRI2D on order. Given FOVgate, and as an Australian living in the UK, this is the first and likely last time I need not envy my American counterparts when it comes to firearms related gear!
