You can also put a piece of 3/4 inch (or 1 inch, I can't remember which size) PVC pipe on top of the magazine follower allowing single loading.

There are some folks that make bag riders that mount to the pic rail. I purchased a 3D printed one. Haven't tried it yet but it seems like it should work well.

I made a single load follower that slips into the MagPul magazines. It is made from a section of PVC pipe (1 inch, I think). It holds the follwer down and allows the bolt to close. It slips in like a cartridge. See photos below.

I run MDT AI style mags in my RPR 6.5 CM and the run fine. Smoother than the PMags.

I never trust the top of the turret to level the scope. In the past I have aligned / leveled the cross hairs using a plumb bob. I do this in my shop. I mount my rifle in a secure rest using my cleaning vise or sitting on it's bi-bod. I make sure the rifle is pointed toward a far wall (make sure...

Bought my dream rifle: It’s a factory Remington 700

I have a Remington 700 VLS in .223 with a 1/12 twist barrel. I really enjoy shooting this rifle. If you don't plan to reload, mine loves the Fiocchi 223 Remington with 40 or 50 grain V-Max bullets. It will put 8 of 10 rounds into just about one hole at 100 yards.

I just saw that Savage is putting one on their new AR10 Precision rifle. I think it is 18" long. Maybe they will be offering it as an aftermarket part.

Magazine mod for single feed; Ruger RPR

I made the pvc pipe single load follower out of 1/2 inch pvc pipe. It was listed on the old Snipers Hide forum site. Luckily I saved pictures from the original post. You just slide it in the mag like a cartridge over the magazinr follower.

There are probably some tools available but I made a wooden block that I drilled first with a hole for the firing pin sring long enough to make sure it wouldn't kink or bend and then a hole the size of the firing pin the rest of the way through. You then can use the bolt handle to compress the...

    Bolt pouch or case?

Some folks don't carry extra bolts, they prefer to transport their rifles with the bolt removed in a separate case.

    Irons on 20 moa rail?

These look like they should work but......(I know there is always a "but"), The only elevation adjustment on these sights are in the front sight. The rear sight only has windage adjustment. You can find some rear sights that are fully adjustable like this one. Here is an inexpensive one on...

    Irons on 20 moa rail?

Yes you could mount the sights on the 20 MOA base on the receiver but they would be awfully close. I think you have a GEN 1 RPR and if you haven't changed your handguard, it would be better to mount the front sight on the pic rail at the end of the handguard. It will give you a longer sight...

I made a single load adapter for my mags. I made it from a piece of PVC pipe (1 inch I think). You insert it on top of the magazine follower. The only problem is that you have to remove it to load more than one round in the mag. Others have ground off the back raised corner of the mag follower...
