The Sniper'sHide Cup Rifleman's Team Challenge in Coleville, WA. It's a 2-day match held in June. Carry your gear. Find, range, and engage on the clock.
I have a similar experience. I misplaced the action screws for an old LSS. I emailed MDT asking for an invoice so I could purchase the screws. They sent screws instead of an invoice!! How's that for world class service. Thanks MDT.
I bought a long and a short stock. Somewhere in between the two one has to fit. Thanks MDT!! I'm now stocked up on stocks. Maybe I can hang them as Christmas ornaments 🤔
I thought we should get our order off as fast as possible if the sever is up then if there are any corrections we should get in touch with support. I did that instead of placing another order for a correction on LOP. Maybe I should have just placed a second order for the same stock??
Sorry for late reply. I'm using H1000, Fed 215 primers, and Hornady brass with the 208gr A-Max #30732. Resized in Hornady FL die with a .336" bushing bumping shoulders .0015 avg. COAL to meplat is 3.648" average. I hope the 230 grainers work because I committed to a whole lot of them.
I'll share my results with a 21" barrel. It's a 1:8.5" twist. I get 2708 fps with factory 225 ELD-M ammo. My Hornady 208gr A-MAX reloads got to 2839 fps, but the accuracy is at 2780 fps. Took those hunting last October but didn't get a chance to use any. I just recently received a few hundred...
I have two semi auto 6.5 Creedmoors with PRS gen 1s. They are heavier than other stocks, but the weight brings balance back because AR10s/LR-308s tend to be front end heavy.
It's good to see interest in field style matches growing. My suggestion is to do away with the cash payout. Get a trophy for the winner and other top category shooters. Put the money back into the event by keeping the entry fee as low as possible to attract new shooters. Throw a BBQ and have...
Glad you guys made it back to Wyoming safely. We were the team that parked next to you Saturday morning. I told you there would be some unusual shooting positions. But that first picture...Damn!!
Brass available now. Hornady must have made a production run. Midway, Midsouth, and Precision Reloading showing in stock. I'll pass and use what I got gambling that another company will soon make 300PRC brass. I have enough to get me into next year.
