We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
I completely agree. Whether the individual is to be believed or not should not be the takeaway from this discussion. It should be the expectations of the consumer for a reliable zero (what western hunter hasn't taken a spill on the mountain?), reliable tracking, and a useable mil hunting reticle.
We have had good experiences both with Federal Premium Trophy Copper and Barnes TTSX/LRX. We have tried the Hornady GMX but they seem to be less consistent. No experience with the Nosler E-tips.
As fall hunting season approaches I am looking forward to seeing more examples of performance on game. Definitely appreciate @coldboremiracle sharing the bullets damage on the vitals (rather than pretty mushroomed bullets). On paper definitely seems like it would give additional confidence at...
If you are recoil sensitive then the ultralight will make it worse as well. You can add a couple lbs or a muzzle brake/suppressor but ultralight and shootability typically do not go together (choose one or the other). I think a good compromise would be a Tikka Lite/Superlite.

Having 3 kids myself I fully understand time being an issue. I definitely would suggest quality factory ammo and spend more time shooting. Put the money towards a class or higher quality optic you can rely on.
Seems like it could be a good training platform for hunting as well. Would be awesome if there were a similar set of pictures/PowerPoint/videos for hunters to practice shot placement.
I unfortunately never got comfortable with the factory CTR stock. Decided to give the KRG Bravo a shot and definitely see a huge difference in ergonomics. Can't wait to shoot it!
