Rifle Scopes Looking for a prism scope.

@Skookum, whatever you decide on be sure to do a review once you've spent some time with it. I've been prism curious myself.

Suggested drills for 100-300 yard training

Here are some links to drill targets. Basically dot drills. You can practice shooting from alternative positions at shorter ranges. Try to shoot groups but make each shot from a different position. There's plenty you can do on paper at shorter ranges and actually helps in a way because it takes...

    Suppressors Q Suppressors

Shoot a cherry bomb at night and see if you still think it's a flash hider. Gas comes out of those little holes the same as gas comes out the sides of a more aggressive brake like you showed. If it directs gas anywhere but forward (it does) then it accomplishes what it is designed to do.

    Suppressors Q Suppressors

This is opposite of what the cherry bomb is. It is absolutely not a flash hider. It is a brake. As a standalone brake it isn't great. It is a good suppressor mount and is in fact designed to be a sacrificial stainless steel blast baffle to protect the first titanium baffle.

    Suppressors Surpressor recommendation

Q makes good cans. People on this forum hate them, and by them i mean Q's owner. For double duty on a bolt action and 300blk ar, it would be tough to beat a trash panda.

    Suppressors Q Suppressors

I've got thunder chicken, trash panda, and half nelson. I like them. A buddy of mine has a couple Q's, surefire, oss, and rugged. He likes Q best. Kevin B. rubs people the wrong way, and sometimes he deserves the backlash, but his silencers are well thought out and work well. I swap mine back...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Safariland qls vs gcode rti

Wow, thanks for the detailed reply. I'm going to be using it for a vp9, Glock 19, 1911, and possibly vp9sk for now. With the ubl mid ride, does the grip of the pistol hit about at the waistband? That's what I'm trying to end up with.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Safariland qls vs gcode rti

Does anyone have experience with both systems? I'm looking for a system that allows quick changing of outside the waistband holsters. This will be for training, classes, and casual range days. Possibly also for a few uspsa matches. Both look and cost very similar. Any preference for one over...

    Rifle Scopes SCOPES

If you have cheap scopes that hold up to big recoil already, why not buy more since they are proven? Why risk something unknown and new?

    Rifle Scopes SCOPES

Come ask for advice. Everyone gives similar advice. Tell everyone they are wrong. Just save up for a Valdada Ior. Best that money can buy. Don't listen to the haters. You won't be disappointed.

    Rifle Scopes SCOPES

If money is that tight, ditch the 338 lapua and buy a 6.5 creed or 308. Even if you lose money on the sale, you'll recoup that in ammo costs quickly.

Rifle Scopes ? On badger ordnance rings

turn the top cap upside down and line it up with the bottom. if the arc matches, then they match. I'm almost positive my badger AR mounts are like this. Never had a problem out of them. I'm pretty sure I had the same thought, but then I looked at them for a minute and it seemed clear to me that...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Favorite Appendix Carry Holster?

I've got a tier1 agis for vp9sk with streamlight tlr-7a. Super comfortable and i can almost conceal with just a t-shirt even being only 5'5" 145

12.5” ar15 barrel, mid length gas, with a can, what gas block?

If gas port is appropriately sized everything should run fine. But barrel makers don't necessarily know what other parts their customers will be using. A lot of people don't trust adjustable gas blocks. Has anyone done actual independent, long term testing of adjustable vs standard to see if...

12.5” ar15 barrel, mid length gas, with a can, what gas block?

The idea is to vent excess gass out the front so it doesn't gas back through the chamber. How much of a difference it makes i can't really say, but i run my guns suppressed and with normal strings of fire, gas in the face is not an issue. If you were putting tons of rounds down range in a short...

12.5” ar15 barrel, mid length gas, with a can, what gas block?

Adjustable. When you're dealing with non-standard parts, an adjustable gas block ensures you'll be able to make it run. I use superlative arms on all my ar's. Never had a problem.

Rifle Scopes Guidance on The Path... (scope selection assistance)

Pretty much what he said. Vortex gen 2 pst 3-15 would also be a good fit. I wouldn't get a strike eagle. Scope is the most delicate, weakest link in the system. Not the place to save money if you have the money to spend.
