    300 PRC update

    Yep almost, 22.5" 300 PRC barrel is one of the ones I use with my Desert Tech. Shoot it suppressed, targets and hunting. Here's a sample of one load I use; Hornady 212 ELDX at 2,800fps using Retumbo. Also shoot Berger 210 VLD's and 215 HYB. All shoot well but I prefer the 210's and 212'.

    Thanks for the response and info on the M2. Think I'll give the guy a call and see what kind of deal he's willing to make. I certainly don't need an M2 but then again if the price is right my A1 handguard gets cut down to Covert length.

    Just consider yourself lucky, you have a fast barrel. I also have some rifles I can’t get to match the published data also. I’ve got one I can’t reach the velocity of what a factory load gives me. Still trying to figure that one out.

    I shoot Berger 130 vld’s, Lapua brass using both H4350 and Rl 16 and the last year mostly RL 16. Out of a custom rifle with all the usually goodies I get around 2920 to 2950 depending on temp using H4250. Using RL 16 getting 3000 to 3010. I’m at 43.8 grains with either powder.
