Will suppressor cover sliding forward act as crown or mess with groups?

Sorry. Sarcasm doesn't always translate well in text. I've got a Cole Tac with metal buckles that I tighten down crazy tight. I don't remember ever having it slip.

Will suppressor cover sliding forward act as crown or mess with groups?

If you're having trouble with your cover slipping, try getting someone that doesn't have baby arms to tighten it for you. Make sure they have worked in concrete and can bench press at least 300 pounds.;)

You're loading your bipod too hard.

SureFire SOCOM762 Ti2 Anyone got any thoughts?

I've been using Surefire for several years. I have a 7.62RC2 and a 300SPS. As stated elsewhere, The RC2 is quiet enough. I use it on 6mm up to 300WM. Nothing is going to be movie quiet with supers. It was a disappointment on a 300BO, where the goal was to be movie quiet with subs. I bought...

Precision Rifle Gear New Sling for Precision Shooters!

I saw David Tubb promote a very similar setup in a police sniper video about 15-20 years ago. Never tried it though.

Arken EP5 7- 35 .. Standing in for some Alpha Glass

When it comes to these scopes, it seems its all about the glass. You're a glass half empty kinda guy. Got it. OP is a glass half full kinda guy. Got it. Excuse me for not considering you an expert on the OP's individual example of this optic, or his opinion. It seems you're awfully...

Downward Vent BCG - Useful or Not?

AFT would surely kick your door in and murder you to confiscate that as a suppressor.

    KAK Down venting BCG

I've had one for about four months. I bought it for my work rifle. I put it in a truck gun I was working on to test it until I could get a full range day to beat on it in my work rifle. My suppressors are not flow through, so gas in the face can be significant at times. The downdraft BCG...

SubSafe, the product I never knew I was missing.

It's not nice to make fun of small meat. Maybe its a grower.

SubSafe, the product I never knew I was missing.

Do you have issues with condensation making the bread soggy with this in your cooler?

    Bergara sucks ass, buyer beware.

I've had my round stock machined by a beaver many thousands of times. Some times are better than others, but I never saw a need to complain. ;)

Sidearms & Scatterguns Under shirt/sweat layer

I use holsters with sweat guards and compression tee shirts. Make sure they fit snug and tuck them in. That will keep them from interfering with the draw. Another thought, and I haven't tried this, what about applying antiperspirant, not deodorant, to the areas under your gun and mags.

To those who say lower cost guns aren't "accurate"..

OP, if you came here to learn, the first step is to shut your f@#&n mouth. You'll learn a lot more with your ears and your mind open. On the other hand, if you came here to teach, as seems to be the case, I think HMFIC has got that covered, thanks. Bye.

Staked castle nut or not ?

Carbines built specifically for duty / hard use usually get a Magpul UBR. If not, proper torque and staking for insurance. The other 90% don't get staked, just properly torqued. I've never had one come loose, and I've been using this platform for over 40 years. If it happens, I have the...

Scope adjustment strategy when switching loads

I use a scope with a tree reticle zeroed for my normal load. When I change loads, I dial the zero offset on the turrets and hold elevation and wind on the grid. You could use a ballistic calculator that allows for zero offset as a variable and enter it for every load you use. Whenever you...

    Benchmade AFO II

I’m aware. It wasn’t a serious post. The wording of your post just struck me as funny. I don’t own any Benchmades because I do care about politics, as it applies to 2A issues. I mostly prefer fixed blades, but carry a few Kershaw folders for light work that serve just fine.

What the FuhQ!?! If Benchmade is sharp enough, and tough enough to cut up a gun, Ima have me one a deez.

SureFire SOCOM300 SPS on 6.5 CM

This is a similar concept to the Nomad. The serial number is over the blast chamber. The can is tubeless, with the baffles stacked and welded on the front of the blast chamber. This allows a complete replacement of the entire baffle stack with a quick turnaround, since the original blast...
