    2024 Ko1M & Ko2M Rule Changes

It's literally the exact same just larger basically. Bartlein barrel in same twist just 2" action and heavy barrel, same load and reamer. You can put an inexperienced shooter behind it and they can shoot it well. Jaclyns light rifle you definitely needed to drive the rifle well with good...

    2024 Ko1M & Ko2M Rule Changes

Jaclyn and I both went from 34 pound 375's to around 43lbs and they absolutely shoot better. Not sure if it's just the overall mass as AB has been suggesting or the larger barrel takes the heat better. My rifle was night and day different last season and I love it. We didn't build them to be...

    6mm BR

Yep definitely wished I would have done it sooner. Shot it at 300 yards today and was just as impressed. Meant to shoot five but apparently primers are needed lol.

Finally built a 6BR and I'm extremely impressed. Just loaded up 30gr of Varget with a 105 Hybrid and went to the range. Manners TCS Bartlein 26" 1.250 straight Bighorn GA Precision

    First ELR rifle

Well I'm fifth on that list with my Savage action lol. Paid $900 for the entire rifle which also won some matches so didn't want to get rid of it when it was time to re barrel. Nothing wrong with getting a cheaper off the shelf rifle to get your feet wet and see if it's something you want to...

    First ELR rifle

Not sure about that specific action but you can definitely go to a well known gun smith with that budget and get a great rifle. https://aprifles.com/products/apr-custom-300-norma-2

    First ELR rifle

.300 Norma would be perfect then.

    First ELR rifle

Are you wanting to actually shoot ELR light matches? I would suggest something in .338 caliber as spotting misses at distance is easier.

Barrel Tuners and Bryan Litz’s vol. 3

No man it happens all the time when you don't cherry pick results. Jaclyn and I each shot close to 10,000 rounds of bolt gun ammo one year at the peak of our PRS shooting. Anyone that tells you your rifle will shoot the same every time is lying. Sure with a better barrel, gunsmith and...

Barrel Tuners and Bryan Litz’s vol. 3

Definitely people would argue but we don't even have something this simple. With these claimed results of 1.5 inch to one hole groups, it would be extremely easy to send that barrel action to Lapua, where they could lock it in there vise used for testing. Same lot of ammo and shoot 25 groups...

Barrel Tuners and Bryan Litz’s vol. 3

So you're saying my $250 Savage rifle is a 1/8 moa rifle? How can I pickup my custom rifle and shoot consistent size groups. It's definitely not my rear bag or lack of wind flag. That's just silly

Barrel Tuners and Bryan Litz’s vol. 3

Why didn't you document this? This would be a cheap an easy test. Go grab that same rifle and shoot ten groups "in tune" make your one adjustment and shoot ten more groups. This is all people keep asking for and why they get frustrated. I've seen my cheap Savage shoot silly small groups then...

Barrel Tuners and Bryan Litz’s vol. 3

So why wouldn't a manufacturer do this? There is no arguing it would improve sales with proof.

Barrel Tuners and Bryan Litz’s vol. 3

Again very simple to prove using a larger data sample. Why hasn't this been done? People would be much more open to learn something they don't understand with proven results. It shouldn't be that complicated to test but it seems to be avoided by everyone involved.

Barrel Tuners and Bryan Litz’s vol. 3

Why wouldn't a manufacturer post their own testing instead of just claiming flaws in another test. Shouldn't this be easily done? Seems like an easy solution and would definitely promote their product and drive business.

Barrel Tuners and Bryan Litz’s vol. 3

No upset but definitely entertained by your lack of comprehension. I have no idea of tuners work or not and have literally never touched one. What I tend to lean towards is when people post scientific testing and public results. All I've seen from the other point of view is complaining about...
