XBR8208 Pressure spike too fast for setup?

Be very careful at 23.8 and up. You may start getting into blowing stuff up territory. I'd expect to see primers start popping out or piercing at 23.7 in LC brass with 77s.

XBR8208 Pressure spike too fast for setup?

Have had good luck with 23.2-23.5gr of 8208 and 77 SMK. The 23.5 started to show pressure signs in both my 16” and 18” barrels. It definitely has a more aggressive pressure spike than Varget and doesn’t deal with being compressed as well.

Precision Rifle Gear Can Chaps, Scope Chaps Suppressor Cover

I think they are steel, but not 100% sure I cooked several cole tac covers way too easily. And it was the straps that melted first, not the buckles. Haven't had that issue here yet

    16-18 inch shorty rifles

That should shoot amazing. The PVA Osprey barrels are fantastic.

Precision Rifle Gear Can Chaps, Scope Chaps Suppressor Cover

Agreed! I'm running some on a sign762SRD and an OCM5. Having demolished several other suppressor covers, I'm enjoying these ones. I really like the burn proof gear but they are a pain to take off.

    16-18 inch shorty rifles

Not sure if this counts, but the total length with the can is 16" 9" barrel + 7" suppressor. 300Blk goodness. Unfortunately the crown needs to be recut by the smith, it's a little rough. Super quiet with N110. Managed to get a little bit of Arca under the dual strike chassis.

300 Blackout Bolt Gun SBR Loads

Worth trying magnum primers? My SD is pretty decent. I ordered parts today to try a 12.5” 1-7Twist AR upper. I figured that will tell me if the bullets just need more spin. Don’t get me wrong, a 1-8 9” barrel on an AR15 that could shoot subs into 1.5” groups at 50yds would be fine for most...

300 Blackout Bolt Gun SBR Loads

The purpose of my build was to chase 500-600yds with subsonics specifically l. Basically to have a large scale 22LR. The single digit, and it really needs to like less than 5 for the SD, is because the ES with subs is so important to vertical stringing. Even changing with the gun is zeroed at...

300 Blackout Bolt Gun SBR Loads

It might help, but I can still get single digit SD with the chargemaster and N110. The type of powder it throws helps.

300 Blackout Bolt Gun SBR Loads

I may try a 12-13" 1:7T barrel to see what that does

300 Blackout Bolt Gun SBR Loads

Wondering if a balance beam is the best option but I can seem to be able to get single digit SD

300 Blackout Bolt Gun SBR Loads

As much as people hate on the idea of a 16” 300Blk barrel, I have to think that a 1:8T stabilizes a lot more in a 16” barrel vs. a 9” barrel. It isn’t something I would care about in an AR15. If I am shooting 1” groups at 50 yds with a 220 SMK, velocity of 1050fps with an SD of 5, thats solid...
