I'm asking because I need a new 34mm mount or rings to mount a 4.5-29x56 Athlon Cronus to my RPR. I was considering the ADM Recon and the Recon SL. Anyone checked out the new Ruger AICS pattern mags? I'm going to be loading for my 6.5 GEN 1 and want a mag or two that I can squeeze maximum COAL and still feed reliably. Rifle Scopes 6.5 CM needing glass...
Outdoor life had a glowing review on the Veracity so I picked up a 5-25 with the SCR reticle. Features for the price are impressive and it has a lifetime warranty. If you are using a traditional hunting reticle such as a fine crosshair then FFP isn't necessary. Mil Dot or Christmas tree and then FFP is advantageous. If you are rapidly engaging targets at multiple distances then I view FFP as a necessity.- Bravo_Bravo

Chassis forend length and suppressors, how much does barrel need to stick out?
Oh, don't forget the coefficient of thermal expansion! Aluminum grows quite a bit when heated, particularly the length dimension. For direct thread you only need 0.5". For QD you need at least 1" from muzzle to rail. This would accommodate 99% of all non-reflex suppressors.
