I use one of these on my night time hunting rifle. It gets banged around, etc and never had an issue with it. Super easy to dump because it works just like a magazine. https://brassgoat.com/products/brass-goat
Well they have your best interest in mind of course!! Let’s make sure to defend them while they rape us on price and availability. I’m all for buy American whenever possible and I’m also all for not getting taken to the cleaners by people that don’t care about your business.
I recently got a g24 clone to use for a loaner setup. Locks up tight, machining is good and works great so far. No way I was going to pay Wilcox prices for something my kids or a buddy was going to use periodically.
These are great, big improvement from the padded outer belts. I’ve been using one for a couple years and it’s held up with no issues. https://www.bluealphabelts.com/product/molle-1-75-battle-belt/?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIk_f-q--4hQMVZTLUAR36AQ7ZEAQYAiABEgK18_D_BwE
Yeah, it took her off the bike for a bit and honestly I think did more mental harm than physical. She’s been pretty cautious since then so I’m trying to work her back up to where she was. Trail trauma.
That’s the one my wife uses. She recently broke it on a bad crash on a jump. If she had been in a half shell it would have been bad. It was about her third run down that line and she was feeling a little too froggy. It always gets you when you least expect it.
Yeah, I’d definitely recommend knee pads here with all the loose rock and hard pack. A full face helmet is a safe bet too. I’ve seen more than a few instances of messed up faces from wearing a half shell or broken full faces that saved someone from a really bad day. You’re right about the...
Haha, I’m sobered up and the new scope looks great. No issues transitioning onto it at 1x now. I’m not gentle on my gear and I noticed it after my last competition in January so who knows.
Just in case this helps anyone else out. This kept bugging me and I contacted vortex. They said to send them the scope. Got a brand new one in the mail today with a note that said the other had an “internal issue”. So I guess it wasn’t just my eyes!!
Oh, c’mon. eBiking is not a crime. Not the same way wearing licra is anyway 😂 I have an amish bike too. I ride it when I don’t want to have as much fun.
I’ve said it here before but I’ll say it again. The eMTB is 4x more fun than the acoustic bike. I was worried about the weight and the stigma and the cost. Worth every penny and I hit more stuff on my ebike than I did before. And what’s surprising is my heart rate was basically the same...
I haven’t been riding for that long but I would imagine if you have a bike that’s from 2016 a modern bike will feel very different due to the geometry changes, tire size 29er/mullet, bar/stem changes, etc. I can feel a different just changing the head angle 1° on my bike. Going from something...
Interesting - couldn’t get the diopter to help without the reticle getting really blurry but if I up the magnification just a little above 1x it stops the issue. Must just be me getting old!! Haha. Thanks for the sanity check. Just wanted to make sure it wasn’t some obvious issue that others...
That’s exactly what it’s doing. I tried playing with the diopter a bit but it didn’t really help. Come to think of it, I noticed recently that I’m also starting to notice some far sightedness creep in (I’m old, haha). Didn’t even think about it but I wonder if that could have something to do...
