Getting more life out of a barrel

So I just bought a defiance action and 24” mtu rock creek 6 dasher barrel. Barrel has 3400 rounds on it. My question is can I have 2”” cut off and re-chambered to dasher again and still have a match barrel or do I just rechamber it to something else for a hunting round and have a new dasher...
