I'm confused why the Amax bullets are set specifically to a predetermined distance from the lands but the two different weight SMK's are simply set to the mag. length ( I assume is 2.80 )? 100 yds. is where all my .308 ,.223, 300AAC bolt guns are zeroed.

How far does your cold bore shot differ from subsequent shots? How many rounds brings your barrel into "warm up" where shots group nice?
