Precision Rifle Gear New Athlon Rangecraft Chronograph-Garmin Xero Killer?

Nobody cares about what Trijicon's MSRP is. Quit showing your ignorance by constantly bringing up some irrelevant number. I (and anyone else) can buy SROs all day for $500 to $550 and RMRs for $100 less. Or you can buy a Steiner MPS for about the same price as an RMR. Pretty sure those are...

Precision Rifle Gear New Athlon Rangecraft Chronograph-Garmin Xero Killer?

You confuse new gimmicks with better and more useful. That's OK. 1000 bucks for an American-made RDS, you say? Hard to take you seriously when you don't even know what these things actually cost. And GBPSE.

Do I need match ammo at 100 yards? Or is it a waste of money?

A car analogy You're taking your high performance car to track days and driving schools rolling on the cheapest Walmart all season tires.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Stubborn RMR screws

There's nothing wrong with the optic. The problem lies in the optic plate and it's severely undersized screws. An RMR set to auto brightness will last years constantly on.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Stubborn RMR screws

Heat with a soldering iron. Torx drive 6-32s are harder to find compared to phlipps drive and phillips head screws are more than capable of taking the breakaway torque needed to overcome blue Loctite plus 16 - 18 lbf-in of torque. They are all that I use on my trijicon pistol red dots. ETA I...

PRS Talk AI named “Official Rifle of the 2025 PRS”

Not everyone has an interest in hunting. Or, if they do, they have other rifles for that. AIs appeal to people who want something bombproof and is as close to "military grade" (to borrow a phrase from the idiotic MSM) as you can get.

    Beam Torque Wrench for Scopes?

It's missing the traceability to a known standard which is typical of cheap hobby tools. This is what a proper certificate of calibration looks like.

    Beam Torque Wrench for Scopes?

FACTS. High quality torque tools are not as expensive as some seem to think and are better and more useful that firearm-specific kits. Tohnichi is a Japanese brand of excellent torque tools every bit as good as CDI and German brands, and my choice for personal use.
