I'm building a .300 Norma on a Defiance action and a bartline 1-8 3/4 to 8 gain twist. It will be finished at 30 inches. I have N 570 powder and plan on running the Hornady 250 grain A-tip. I can't seem to find much for load data and was looking for some help on where to start. The Vihtavuori...
I'm building a .300 Norma and can't decide between the Whisky 3 or the MPA Matrix. I like the folding and ease of adjustment of the whisky 3, however the adjustable grip of the MAP looks interesting. I will be using it for steel out to a mile mostly prone. I am not super worried about...
I bought the fury 5000 when they first came out. I have been really happy with them. I was on course with a buddy who had the Vectronix x and it performed just as far out as my 5000 in terrible conditions. In a heavy snow storm I could not get them to range, but I did not bring anything else...
I don’t know if this helps but at my work we wear avon and a few guys went to there optometrist and got lenses made for their masks. They contacted the manufacturer to find what frame they they recommended and ordered the lenses separate. I just bought contacts and never worried about it.
I am looking to re-barrel a .300 win mag. I will use this rifle for steel out to 1600 m and as a hunter. I currently run a shot out lilja 26 “ however I am trying to shave weight as most of my hunts are back pack hunts in the mountains. I was looking into going with a carbon fiber barrel. A...
I have a gen II razor 3-18, 4.5-27 and a Mark 5 7-35. If you care about weight go with the Leopold, The razor is a boat anchor. The Leopold noticeably lighter and has a nice zero stop system. The razor also has locking windage and elevation turrets. I really like both scopes and would go with...
I have 4 nightforce atcars. I recently purchased a 7-35 and cannot get my zero stop to engage. Every time I try it moves the reticle. I would be interested in hearing how your issue is fixed. My scope will go in for service after hunting season.
Th at does look slick. That’s about as good of endorsement as you can give. I will check them out. Thanks for taking the time to respond and post pictures.
My goal is to build a trainer to practice my fundamentals. I have 200 yards behind my house. I shoot CCI sub-sonic for the terrible ballistics to emulate longer ranges. I can only make it to the centerfire range twice a month. As far as price, I want to buy the best value for my time and...
I was looking at putting a .22 trainer together and wondered what people like between the area 419 CZ457 and the Voodoo. I was wondering how the Tikki in a KRG Bravo would do? Is it worth the extra cash to step up? Thanks
I have both and find the operator to be very heavy, and there is not as much room as you would think for the pack size. The operator also feels like your pack weighs more than other packs I have used with the same loadout. If I was in your position I would get the gunslinger II or look to...
I have been running the Vortex Fury 5000 for about a month. I am really impressed with the product. The glass clarity is better than their Viper RT's, but obviously not as good as a pair of 5-year-old Swarovski. (just bino's no LRF). I didn't notice a blue tint, but I am not the best at...
