I I loaded 42 - 43 grains with 140 ELDM's in Peterson LP brass with CCI 34 primers in my AR. 42 grains gave me 2690 fps and 43 gave me 2735.

I have found the 300 PRC to be a very good shooting caliber. I've shot 225 ELDM's and 230 LRHT's using H1000, N570 and RL26. The barrel likes RL26 but it's been impossible for me to procure. My favorite Load so far is Berger 230 LRHT over 75.4 grains of RL26 20 shot average is 2891 fps with a 7.8 SD

I load for the same calibers also and use the SAC sizing die for them. You also get the benifits of the neck/shoulder bushing. edit: plus the expander operation all in one step

By nature I am inclined to agree with you completely, but watching what is going on down south and what is happening to our previous president brings new meaning to risk and precedent.

My labradar has worked well for me after accessorized it and I like using it. That being said, I know I will be changing it out at some point to one of these new units. No rush though. It will be nice watching how things shake out.

I've had good luck with 90 gr. SMK's and VV N565 and 88 gr. ELDM's with H4831
