    7 LRM vs 7-300 PRC

I honestly have never chased any more velocity as it shot SO well and the match limit was 3100 anyway. I do believe it will go faster but I dont really need more.

    7 LRM vs 7-300 PRC

I shoot a 280AI with 180 Bergers and its very good...about 3000 with 27" 9 twist barrel. 168s will touch 3100...and the gun shoots lights out.

    Range Report The .280 sucks . . . ?

The 280 is a great round, not sure where you heard it wasnt. The 280AI is even better...but not by much. It DOES do well with the correct barrel twist and bullet. I have a good bit of experience with 280s. I shot mine in the ASC match this past spring.

MANY Thanks to Jon, Rod, Brock and ALL the people that work so hard to make ASC happen and make it such a great match. The shots, location, people and the food are all top notch and I cant thank them enough for what they put on for us. We've all made some great shots but for me, above all the...

New Shooter - FNAR Heavy Range Report

Suppressors Threaded vs. quick detach suppressor?

Re: Threaded vs. quick detach suppressor? Very true, even WITH Nomex gloves I cant take off my Ti can after more than 15 rounds unless I wait a while! Seriously HOT! I've done it but theres no safe place to put the can down and do it in a hurry and I cant get the gloves off fast enough, they...

How many of you "actually" shoot 500yds+ often?

Re: How many of you "actually" shoot 500yds+ often? I have 505 yard range at my house, 15 seconds out my back door. I shoot 500 yards pretty darn often...a few times a week at least. I have 3 inch steel that offers the most challenge now, the 6, 12 and 15 inch targets only get shot whan I...

Gunsmithing WTF my Walther P22 Blew UP!!!

Re: WTF my Walther P22 Blew UP!!! I've wanted a Sig or Walther 22 for some time but the failures kept me away. I picked up a .22 slide for my Sig P220 yesterday. Now this seems like it will last forever. More what you would expect from Sig, AND dont have to deal with a gun not really big...

    Suppressors SBRs with cans

    Suppressors SBRs with cans

I'm looking into an SBR and I want a can on it. I'd like to get as close to 10 1/2 inches without eating up the can. I know erosion from pressure can be an issue in short barrels. Anyone have experience with SBRs and cans? Some may hold up better. Which ones? Also I want it light weight. No YHM...
