Hey all. Wondered if I could ask a favor. Can anyone give me the rough diameters for the The Lock-N-Load O.A.L. Gauge main tube (red) and the silver portion (where the thumb screw is). Measurements from either the Straight or the curved models will work fine. note: not asking for measurement...
Ty sir. So far it is working well. Haven't used it in matches i have shot yet - but used it for 3 range trips so far and it has worked well, carried everything needed, and gives me a quick 'homebase' for standing with gear - vs sitting on/next to my pack on the ground. I might even get real lazy...
::Just posted this in the other thread as well:: Here is my current setup. 15$ stroller (fixed wheel - idk how i feel about that yet) - Kolpin (need to trim their 4" freaking bolts lol) and Graspur clamps. Configured so I can have 2 rifles in case the wife comes with me - so it will not have 2...
Here is my current setup. 15$ stroller (fixed wheel - idk how i feel about that yet) - Kolpin (need to trim their 4" freaking bolts lol) and Graspur clamps. Configured so I can have 2 rifles in case the wife comes with me - so it will not have 2 rifles on it at all times lol. Also wanted to be...
So, gonna toss in a question and partial answer: What are you loading for? Plinking, PRS, BR/FClass, etc? That question, imo, will mean more for the intended result of the question - as those options can 'weight' (see what i did there) the needed resolution. As BR will _want_ for more fine...
Anyone with any 110 Atip jump experience? Finally caved and went with the atips cause i cant find 109's for the life of me (local shop caters to a couple of shooters and gives them the heads up with no limits on whatever he brings in - so shopping elsewhere now). Gonna do initial testing at...
Mpress uses proprietary die blocks for the dies - i've played with using 2 lock rings from other companies - but turns into a pain that also is not worth the time.
Hmm, this is an option, but tbh, if i need to do that much customization to make the die blocks work - i'll swap presses and not need to worry about it. So far this is my only issue - and its only with this one sizer - my 6gt and 308 sizing dies dont seem to suffer from it. Gonna try some of...
So far i have only tried blue loctite - it worked for about 5 sizing sessions (usually 200 ish cases) - and i noticed on the 5th session that the die had wandered - looked like i caught it within like 10-15 cases. so far this is my only complaint on the M-Press.
Does anyone else seem to have an issue on a die block grub screw not wanting to stay tight? Resulting in a wandering die? On my sizing die - i have had an issue getting the grub screw to stay tight. I am trying some blue loc-tite now to see if that might assist it. i did tighten the screw at...
Overall - i consider reloading less of trying to save money and more of consistency of the rounds. I only load rifle calibers for prs - and I am. Getting to the point where I am specifically paying more money to complete operations faster and ‘spend’ less time loading and more time with the...
Do you like your gt? If not - switch. Do you want to try something new to you - switch. I do know a couple of guys that shoot a bbl in 6bra then have it reamed to 6gt. They continue to use bra in matches and practice mainly with the gt.
