Gentleman, I believe I read somewhere in the past that the recess machined into the bottom of the forend was to possibly add some sort of grip tape to reduce recoil by greater interference between stock and bag? Anyone doing this, or have any feedback on its worth? Cheers Pete

Question: If you were to use a scope mounted red dot sight to assist in initial target acquisition, what MOA would be recommended? Not totally sold on the idea, but I can pick-up an aimpoint (2moa) cheap and move it on with no loss if needed. I have seen it discussed before to varying degree's...

Out of ìnterest, is there anyone who shoots this stock and also float their thumb (on the shelf) with a 308 or larger caliber (braked)? In regards to PRS style competition, is zeroing your rifle at 100 yard (Point of Impact) still the standard or are people choosing a longer distance of say 300 yards? Thanku Pete
