I was on the KRG website and found a set of pins that I think will work. I ordered a set to try. I have the offset on my Vudoo. My wife is going to start to shoot and she shoots left handed so I'm going to set up 2 cheek risers to switch when she shoots.
What I did is was use Burris rings and put added cant in the rings until the bottom of adjustment of the scope was less than a full turn to bottom. I didn't have a good zero stop at zero but I could keep track of turns that way. I would turn back toward bottom until it stopped and turn it back...
Here's some info on what we're doing with rimfire. Tactical benchrest. https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/old-people-precision-rimfire.7155833/
https://www.gtmoriginal.com/ Gun Tote'n Mamas. My wife has a couple different ones. They are well made and hold up well. She carried one several years until is started to look worn and she replaced it with an identical one.
We had a great day at Powerline last Saturday. Weather was just right and the famous Powerline wind was gentle with us. :) No rocking chairs were seen. ;) @sjesatko it was great meeting and shooting with you and Tyler. I enjoyed learning how experienced shooters approach a stage. I now know...
The next match at Powerline is this coming Saturday. Do we need to bring you a rocking chair or are you bringing your own? ;) Regular shooting stools will be available for all the other tactical bench shooters. Regular PRS style props also. 10 stages. Around 100 rounds. Sign in starts at 7:30...
As George Jones said: We don't need your rockin' chair. ;) However, if you want to come shoot with us, I can bring one from home for you to use. We try to accommodate everyone. :) This is all about old decrepit people being able to shoot.
All you fair weather shooters missed a good match. See the shadows in most of those pictures? The rain quit about starting time and it was a beautiful day on the range. :)
That's a one day trip. ;) Leave home at 5 AM. You'll get there around 10 AM when the backlog starts to clear out. Shoot the match, BS for a few hours and you still get home before dark. :)
Battery jumper pack instead of jumper cables. You can jump start a car with one of these in less time than it takes you to untangle your jumper cables plus you don't need another car.
There was only one negative that several shooters mentioned. The targets were hard to find in the grass after they had been shot a bit. Any ideas to help would be appreciated. The range is a grassy hillside. it has been brush hogged and then just before the match, lanes were mowed to separate...
These were very well designed stages. I shot Tactical Bench and Keith had some surprises for the bench shooters that challenged their skills. It wasn't just shooting off the bench like usual, but this old guy could do anything he asked me to do. This range is awesome and the props are well...
I spotted for Chris when he shot the peep sight gun. It was awesome to watch. I saw the whole thing from when Bob left the rifle to Chris trying to get the sights to move. After Chris shot, I shot the gun at 50 yards. I could get hits on the bigger sighter target, but I didn't hit the regular...
