    Before I spend hours going down the rabbit hole I figured I’d just ask. Will any of the 6mm offerings in an ar15 platform allow me to push a 95VLD to 2900 out of an 18” barrel? I’m looking for a lighter hunting setup to use when I don’t want to lug my 15lb 6.5 out.

    I’m not sure if it is a reason for the switch but I bought some of the 140’s recently and was blowing primers during the summer. Out of the 200+ rounds I had previously shot there were no issues. Now that it’s cooled down I need to try it out again.

    Received mine last Friday. Got it mounted and finally got to sight it in today. Tracking seems good and returns to zero several times. Don’t have much to compare the glass to but I’m going to say I don’t think I’ll miss because of it. 20moa rail and I ended up with 20 mil of elevation left...

    Just trying to make sure I understand this correctly. Even if your mechanical zero is 5 mils from the bottom end you can still only get 18 mils up?

    I hadn't thought about eBay. 375 for non ill. 450 for ill. That is very tempting. My only question is are they still going to cover their warranty like they did? I've only had to send 1 in but it was no hassle and fixed and sent back pretty quick.

    I have one of the older 10x with MOA turrets and mil dot reticle and it’s served me thus far. I was going to get another in MIL/MIL and move this one to a 22 or 223. I checked optics planet but it showed the FX1000 back at $749. I have a few Nikons and have had great luck with them.

    Next step

    I felt like all these were good shots. I had another load I was trying and I had 2 bad trigger presses in that group and it showed. ES was 40 with the second shot of the string being the one that took the ES from 14 to 40. I will do more dry fire practice before going back and see what happens.
