    Plate Carrier for Rucking

The benefit of a Goruck (or any) pack is you can wear it anywhere without getting the PD called on you. In many cases not a big deal, but you have an opportunity to spend more time under weight if using a pack.

Rifle Scopes Is there a market for a good MPVO

For me, no, I don't need wind holds. I use a SFP scope (NXS 2.5-10 mil dot) for this role. Out to 300 you really don't need wind holds. Hold target edge if there is a lot of wind. I wish there was a FFP option with bold horizontal stadia down to ~3-5 mils and then a low-complexity tree on...

Rifle Scopes Is there a market for a good MPVO

Like above, you don't need a tree, you need a usable center/stadia. The scenario where I've used the low end is in matches with UKD targets at short(<300 yards) range. The offset dot is great up close but can be hard to call a miss at 200-300 yards. A 2.5x bottom end is much easier to use in...

    Pin and weld suppressor?

Just FYI, interstate travel is not that difficult. You file a form that is good for 12 months. Every January I file for the states I might travel to (matches, family, vacation, etc.).

    New Applied Ballistics® Quantum™ APP! - & It's Free!

One feature idea for anyone running a BDC or unsupported reticle. Maybe offer an alternate target card where the user can input MOA or MIL values and see the corresponding yard/meter range. That way users who have a BDC reticle from a less helpful scope manufacturer can make their own "BDC...

Rifle Scopes Leupold Mark 4HD non-illuminated vs illuminated TMR reticle

    Glock .22 G44...?

The G44 is a fine pistol. Nothing amazing, but nothing wrong with it unless you want to mount optics to it. The nice thing is holsters and mag holders for your 19/17 fit. If you want a red dot look elsewhere.

    45* or 90* red dot

I think it's personal preference, but also what circumstances you plan to use it. 45 deg is faster in most cases where you are standing or kneeling. 12:00 is easier when proned out, offhand, or through ports. It also depends on the scope, mount height, and turrets. If you have a 1.74 or...

A Small Rant about AR mounts ahead of April Fools Day

Reptilia AUS, Nightforce unimount, and Primary Arms PLX mount are all pretty light and good quality My 30mm 1.5" unimount is 5.7 oz. My 30mm 1.54" PLX mount with RMR top cap is 6.5 oz

Rifle Scopes Is there a market for a good MPVO

2x or 3x on the bottom end doesn't really matter, and 10x-15x also isn't super important. Personally I want light weight (~20 oz) and a reticle usable throughout the mag range. I really like my NXS 2.5-10x32 for this purpose. SFP isn't ideal, but it solves some of the reticle issues. I wish...

Rifle Scopes Is there a market for a good MPVO

That looks very usable. I want a Mark 4HD but the TMR desperately needs some numbers so you don't get lost.

DNT is gonna let us do a reticle

I don't understand why scope manufacturers insist on 10+ mils of windage on the horizontal stadia. Bringing the bold horizontal stadia in to ~5 mils makes it much more usable at low power. For 5.56 with a 15mph wind I'll go subsonic before I hit 5 mils of wind.

    MPVO for Tactical Games Thoughts/Recommendations

When the PA guys decided to not put a chevron in their precision reticle they called an emergency strategy meeting to come up with alternative ways to fuck up a reticle. The Neptune was born.

Rifle Scopes *UPDATED MODEL *PRIMARY ARMS GLX 2.5-10

I think it entirely depends on the reticles. The PLX-C is a nice scope, but if they put one of their crazy range finding chevron trees in there it could easily ruin it.

Red Dot on CCW Pistol. Do you guys use them?

The larger dot also allows you to use less brightness and maintain visibility. Lower brightness makes it easier to focus on the target and it reduces bloom.

    Plx-c nova feedback

I have the FFP version. If the 8x image quality is the same on the SFP version I wouldn't want it. 8x gets dark and fuzzy when I have the diopter adjusted for 1x performance. It's also pretty tight at 8x I've used a credo HX 1-6 and I'm considering flipping the PLX-C for it. I'm not sure...
