Sidearms & Scatterguns Red dot or not on your "life or death" pistol?
Personally, at this point, I'm of the opinion a dot on a pistol is like a scope on a rifle. Unless I'm doing something intentional that requires irons, limited division in uspsa, hunting with a iron sighted muzzleloader, or shooting a single action revolver, I don't even consider iron sights...- dzeke

Sidearms & Scatterguns For the upland bird hunters: 28" or 30" barrels?
Almost always for sub-gauge guns, I would prefer longer barrels. I have two 28ga shotguns that are my go to upland shotguns, one O/U and one SxS both are 28" barrels. That is all that they were offered in, I would have gotten them both in 30" had that been an option. You lose so much weight in...- dzeke

School me on 223 AICS mags
I currently use MDT metal mags for my 223 in a KRG X-Ray. Has worked very well for me. Curiosity, and a good deal, got the better of me and I bought a couple of Magpul AICS 223 mags. Help me pick a chassis for a B14R Heavy
I have an X-Ray and several Bravos. I tend to prefer the Bravos slightly but I really like the X-Ray too. It doesn't really do much different than the bravo. It has more of a chassis feel than the bravo if that's what you prefer.- dzeke
